Baptism is a public profession of one's faith in Christ as their
Savior. This ceremony is an outward demonstration of an inward
spiritual change. We believe that water baptism is not an optional
part of the Christian life, but rather an obligation to fulfill the
command of Christ to be baptized (Matthew 28:18-20). It is also
significant that we are following the example Christ himself set for us by
being personally baptized by John the baptist.
-
Baptism candidates must meet with the Pastor before the ceremony date.
Please contact the church office for the next scheduled Baptism Service.
-
Baptism is reserved for those who have already accepted Christ as
Savior.
-
The method of baptism used by our church is full immersion.
-
We do not baptize infants or children who are unable to understand the
meaning and significance of baptism. Our children's ministry does
have baptism classes available to determine if your child is spiritually
ready to make this commitment.
